- Scope. The Competitor Snapshot includes the deliverables and turnaround described on our site, counted in business days from payment or your answers to the intake questions, whichever is later. The Market Brief and Monthly Competitor Watch are scoped and confirmed in writing before you pay. Follow-up questions are included for 7 days after delivery.
- How reports are made. Drafts are produced by AI research assistants using TrailMaster, our proprietary toolkit for AI agents. Every claim in a report is source-linked. Dane Bowman approves every report and checks the key and flagged claims before delivery. TrailMaster is an internal tool. Buying a report doesn't grant access to it.
- Nature of the work. Reports are business research based on public sources as of the report date. They aren't legal, financial, tax, or investment advice. Public information can be incomplete or out of date. Check important facts yourself before relying on them for major decisions.
- Fixes and refunds. If a report misses or gets wrong something in the agreed scope, we'll fix it within 2 business days of your notice. Refunds are at our discretion.
- Liability. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any report is limited to the fees you paid for it.
- Confidentiality. We keep your information confidential and don't reuse it for other clients. See our Privacy Policy.
- Use of reports. You may use reports internally and with your clients. White-label is available on request. White-label reports still disclose that they were generated with TrailMaster and AI-assisted research, that every claim is source-linked, and that Dane Bowman approves every report and checks the key and flagged claims before delivery. Please don't resell reports as a standalone product.
- Monthly Competitor Watch. $249/month, 3-month minimum, then month-to-month; cancel with 30 days' notice.
- Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington.
